PURPOSE:To realize favorable four-way seal packing even in the case of a nylon- or polyester-based packing film, or a thick packing film, or a packing film formed by laminating a thin film of aluminum as a base material, without generating a bridge halfway in a product drop filling cylinder. CONSTITUTION:According to the guide action of a bag-making unit 1, a packing film F is curvedly formed so as to be a cylindrical shape enclosing a product drop filling cylinder 2, a vertical seal S1 is applied to the packing film on the fore side of the product drop filling cylinder 2, a folded decorative vertical seal S2 is applied to the packing film on the rear side thereof from the central part of a film width by a rib 7 extended from the product drop filling cylinder 2, and the packing film is laterally heat-sealed and cut. The product drop filling cylinder 2 has a semi- cylindrical plate 2b mounted at an upper part of a flat face of a product drop filling cylinder main body which is semi-cylindrical, and an upper part of the product drop filling cylinder is formed into a cylindrical shape. The rib 7 is attached to the central part of a flat face width just under the semi-cylindrical plate 2b and, by providing a pair of film guide plates 14, 14, the packing film F is made to closely contact with the flat face of the product drop filling cylinder main body and with the rib 7. |
