PURPOSE:To produce the subject material excellent in color reproducibility, excellent in lightfastness over the range from a low concn. part to a high concn. part and also to suppress the generation of the Y-stain at a white part by incorporating a specific coupler and compd. in the same layer among a photo graphic constitution layers. CONSTITUTION:This material is provided with the photography constitution layers on a supporting body, and the coupler expressed by formula I and the compd. expressed by formula II are incorporated in the same layer among this photography constitution layers. In the formula I, R is hydrogen atom or substd. group, Za-Zc each is methine, substd. methine, etc., Y is hydrogen atom or the group capable of releasing at the time of the coupling reaction with the oxidant of a developing agent. In the formula II, A-C each is substd. or unsubstd. alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, aryloxy group or heterocyclic group independently, at least one of A-C is expressed by the formula III. In the formula III, R1' and R2' are hydrogen, halogen atom, substd. or unsubstd. alkyl, aryl, alkoxy and aryloxy group.
