In the case of a control surface actuating device of a missile, a driver nut (17) can be driven via a spindle (15) by an actuating motor (13) which is mounted in a pendular manner. A control surface shaft (6) of a control surface blade (3) can be rotated by this driver nut (17), via a driver fork (19). The control surface actuating device has been further developed in terms of force being transmitted stiffly and without play and in terms of a physical form which is compact and can easily be assembled (installed), such that the actuating motor (13) and the control surface shaft (6) are mounted on a common supporting block (1). The control surface blade (3) engages in a positively locking manner in the displacement direction in a receptacle (7) in the control surface shaft (6). The control surface shaft (6) and the driver fork (19) are likewise connected in a positively locking manner in the displacement direction. <IMAGE>
