PURPOSE:To provide a power supply for driving a vibration-type compressor with maximum efficiency even when a load changes. CONSTITUTION:A power supply for a vibration-type compressor includes an inverter circuit 6 for converting a direct current to an alternating current, a polarity inversion circuit 3 for generating a DC voltage (-E) with reverse polarity from an input voltage (E), and a control unit 7 for controlling an inverter circuit 6 In addition, the power supply includes a shunt resistor 20 for detecting a current flowing in the vibration-type compressor 1. The control unit 7 is made up of a variable frequency oscillator 21, a frequency divider 22 for dividing the oscillating frequency into two, a transistor control circuit 23 for switching at an inverter circuit unit 6 through the divided frequency, a frequency follow-up circuit 24 for comparing each mean value of the current of the shunt resistor 20 at each half oscillating frequency of the oscillator and adjusting the oscillating frequency of the oscillator 21 so that a differential in peak values becomes equal to a given set value. |
