PURPOSE:To fairly manage an image forming device by securing the continuous use of the device by a user satisfying a fixed payment condition and surely restricting the continuous use of the device by an illegal user. CONSTITUTION:When a controller 6a in a managing device 6 sets up prescribed reference use amounts and the increment/decrement of the reference use amounts for image forming devices 4, 8, the reference use amounts are stored in storage means in the devices 4, 8, controllers 4a, 8a compare consumption counted by a counter with the reference use amounts stored in the storage means, control the permission/inhibition of the start of image forming operation based upon the compared result and update the reference use amounts stored in the storage means in accordance with the increment/decrement of the set reference use amounts. |
