<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of dioxin from a polymer waste, improve the efficiency and speed of treating the waste, and reduce the cost of the apparatus and treatment. CONSTITUTION:Specified amts. of a polymer waste and a solvent are fed from a hopper 2 and a solvent reservoir 13, respectively, into a dissolution and decomposition vessel 1, where the waste is dissolved in the solvent to give a slurrylike soln. and simultaneously the soln. is brought into contact with a catalytic reaction layer 3 to decompose the waste, giving a low-viscosity oil. The oil is sucked from the dissolution and decomposition vessel 1 with a transfer pump 8, cooled with a cooler 14, and supplied to and stored in an oil reservoir 6.</p> |
