摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a control system by extracting various correlations between pairs of sensors and mutually diagnosing sensors in accordance with these correlations by each other to synthetically discriminate an abnormality. CONSTITUTION:A quantizing means 104 extracts correlations existing in outputs of sensors based on the data base stored in an operation data storage means 102. The result is stored in sensor correlation storage means 106 and 107 in a correlation storage means 105 with respect to each pair of sensors. A collating means 108 collates data in the correlation storage means 105 with signals of sensors 1 to (n) taken in from an input part 101, and the distance between correlations extracted for each pair of sensors and those for normalcy is quantized. A diagnosing means 109 discriminates whether the output of each sensor has an abnormality or not by the quantized distance of correlations for each pair of sensors. If it has an abnormality, the sensor which outputs the abnormal value is specified and is displayed on a display means 112.</p>
