DETERGENT COMPOSITION FOR HARD SURFACE

PURPOSE:To obtain a detergent composition having excellent power of deterging even tenacious dirt such as oily or fatty dirt and good foaming power and low-temperature storage stability by mixing a mixture which comprises at least two compounds such as specified polyoxyalkylene monobenzyl ethers and in which the numbers of moles of the polyoxyalkylene monobenzyl ethers added distribute. CONSTITUTION:0.1-30wt.% mixture which comprises at least two compounds of formula I (wherein R is phenyl or benzyl; R is H or CH3; and X is an integer of 1-10) and satisfies next, formula II (wherein (x) is the number of moles of addition of the oxyalkylene groups of the compound used in the largest amount (wt.%) and is an integer of 2-4; and N7 is the amount (wt.%) based on the mixture) of the compound having the number of moles of addition of (i) of the oxyalkylene groups) is added. A desirable example of this mixture is the one satisfying formula III. This composition may further contain desirably 0.1-20wt.% at least one nonionic surfactant or amphoteric surfactant.
