发明名称 FLAW INSPECTING EQUIPMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain flaw detecting equipment which easily detects a fissure existing in the surface or inside a translucent glass product and which brings about no dead angle in whichever direction wherein the fissure exists and thus prevents lowering of a detecting performance. CONSTITUTION:Three illuminators disposed at positions at which the directions of application of light thereof are shifted at about 90 deg. from each other in the horizontal direction of an object of measurement, two image pickup means 10 and 11 disposed at positions shifted at 45 deg. in the horizontal direction from the adjacent ones of the three illuminators, and an image input means 15 to which image signals being outputs of the image pickup means are inputted, are provided. Moreover, a feature extracting means 16 which receives an output of the image input means 15 as an input and extracts a feature such as a fissure, a flaw or the like existing in the surface or inside of the aforesaid object of measurement and a flaw determining means 17 which determines the existence of the flaw, the fissure or the like on the basis of a signal inputted from the feature extracting means are provided. This constitution makes it possible to emphasize a fissure plane existing inside of the object of measurement and to detect it without fail.
