PURPOSE:To obtain an optical information recording medium having satisfactory jitter value at a low cost by forming a heat absorbing film on a reflecting film of gold and diffusing heat causing jitter generated at the time of recording into the direction of the heat absorbing film. CONSTITUTION:A recording film 2 of an org. coloring material, a reflecting film 3 of gold, a heat absorbing film 4 and a UV-curing resin film 5 are laminated on a polycarbonate substrate 1. This substrate 1 is an injection-molded substrate, the recording film 2 is formed by spin coating and each of the reflecting film 3 and the heat absorbing film 4 is formed by sputtering. The recording film 2 melted by heating at the time of irradiation with laser light and the substrate 1 cured by heating interact with each other and thermally deformed parts are formed at the interface between them and become pits. The reflecting film 3 diffuses heat accumulated at pit edges as a thermal diffusion layer into the reflecting film 3. The reflectance of the reflecting film 3 increases in accordance with the increase of the thickness but reaches the uppermost limit at a prescribed thickness. The heat absorbing film 4 is superposed on the reflecting film 3 having the prescribed thickness. By this structure, the objective medium capable of stably recording and reproducing information independently of linear velocity at the time of recording is obtd. |
