<p>A mixer valve includes a cartridge (26) that houses a ball valve element (24) that has its lower end exposed to cooperate with elastomeric seals (49) seated in inlet ports (45, 46). The ball valve element (24) is vertically affixed within the cartridge housing (56) by a pin (60). The elastomeric seals (49) and ports (45, 46) are in an installable insert member (44) which cooperates with inlet passages (18, 19) in the lower base member (14). The cartridge (26) is removable from the insert member to expose the elastomeric seals (49) for replacement thereof.</p> |
