ELECTRIC REGENERATION TYPE CONTINUOUS ION EXCHANGE DEVICE AND ITS USE METHOD

PURPOSE:To provide the electric regeneration type continuous ion exchange device which is small in electric resistance value and is capable of increasing a treatment quantity. CONSTITUTION:This electric regeneration type continuous ion exchange device is alternately provided with desalting chambers 5 and concentrating chambers 6 partitioned by plural ion exchange membranes 7, 8 between a cathode chamber 4 and an anode chamber 4. The desalting chambers 5 consist of anion graft exchangers A and cation graft exchangers C placed to face each other in parallel with flow. The desalting chambers 5 are interposed with plastic nets 10 between the anion graft exchangers A and the cation graft exchangers C. The thickness of the desalting chamber is preferably 3 to 4mm.
