On a vessel for liquids, in particular for milk, fruit juices and the like, for reasons of an environmentally friendly design, in particular in relation to the transportation of empty vessels, and for a simple and easy and secure handling of the vessel by the user, provision is made - for the vessel to consist of a conical bottom part which is open at the top - and a top part which can be connected to the bottom part in a liquid-tight manner, - for the bottom part to have a profiled edge surrounding the opening all around, - a fold being formed on the outer underside of said profiled edge, - which fold can be brought into engagement with the upper part of the profiled edge of the following bottom part when bottom parts are stacked one inside the other, - and, on the one hand, for the profiled edge of the bottom part to be formed on its inner side and preferably on its upper part and, on the other hand, the lower edge of the top part to be designed to fit one another in such a way that the top part can be inserted releasably into the bottom part to produce the liquid-tight connection. <IMAGE>
