Container (1) made of synthetic material, especially a bottle (1), comprising a hollow body (2), which includes a bottom zone (4) and a base (7) which is fastened to the hollow body (2) and which has a surface (8) on which to rest the bottle (1), the hollow body (2) being fastened to the base (7) at at least one fastening point (9), each having a small size compared with the bottom zone (4), and, outside the fastening point or points (9), the container (1) having, between the remainder of the base (7) and the hollow body (2), a passage gap (10) for a natural flow of a fluid; and use of the container, especially for beverages, comprising collection of the said container (1) which has been previously used and emptied, a washing operation, a rinsing operation and re-filling of this container. <IMAGE>
