PURPOSE:To simultaneously execute peeling and removing of the primary coating of an optical fiber and cleaning to remove the scrap, etc., thereof, to make it possible to carry out the operation in the intermediate part of the optical fiber and further, to greatly save cleaning members. CONSTITUTION:Two pieces of cleaning tapes 11, 12 are held between a pressurizing head 2 to be pressurized by a spring 3 and a stationary head 1 facing this head. Rollers 4, 5, 6, 7 which move up and down oppositely to each other on both sides thereof are mounted at slide guides 8 and further, tape stoppers 9a, 9b exist on both sides thereof. |
