PURPOSE:To provide a paste type cathode plate for an alkaline storage battery capable of enhancing active material utilization at high temperature and increasing discharge capacity. CONSTITUTION:A paste type active material mainly comprising nickel hydroxide powder in which the ratio of a peak intensity A of (001) plane to a peak intensity B of (101) plane, A/B, is in the range of 1.0-1.3, and the half value width C of the peak of (101) plane is in the range of 0.8-1.1 is filled in a current collector made of a foam metal with three dimensional network structure. |
