PURPOSE:To provide safety lamp device for suppressing consumption of a storage battery by lighting an electric bulb only when necessary. CONSTITUTION:A safety lamp device is provided with a plug edge 4 removably inserted to be connected to a receptacle of a cimmercial power supply 3, and when the plug edge 4 is inserted to be connected to the receptacle, a storage battery is charged. By a heat ray sensor 6, a heat ray emitted from the human body is detected. On the other hand by an illuminance sensor 7, peripheral illuminance is detected. Further by a changeover switch 9, an off-mode, on-mode and an automatic mode can be switched. In the automatic mode, in a control circuit 8, only when the peripheral illuminance detected by the illuminance sensor 7 is in a prescribed value or less, an electric bulb 2 is lighted with the battery 1 serving as the power supply based on an output of the heat ray sensor 6. Accordingly, the electric bulb 2 is lighted only when necessary and put out when not necessary, and consumption of the storage battery 1 can be suppressed. |
