PURPOSE:To obtain a transfer medium of thermal transfer recording type which has excellent resistance against hot water cleaning and dry cleaning and can be suitably used as a cleaning tag. CONSTITUTION:A resin binder and a fine particle structure are blended at a solid ratio of 0.5/10 to 30/10 for the fine particle structure/resin to prepare a paint, then this paint is applied to a base and cured to prepare an ink receptive layer. The surface smoothness of the ink receptive layer is 20 to 400sec, preferably 40 to 150sec in term of Beck's degree of smoothness, and is 1 to 30mum, preferably 5 to 20mum in terms of 10-point average roughness(Rz) by a probe-type surface roughness tester. The ink transferred thermally sticks to the extremely fine surface recessed part of the ink receptive layer as if it were anchored, and becomes sealed into the recessed part. Consequently, the resistance against cleaning is significantly enhanced. |
