PURPOSE:To prevent the positional shift of a dot by injecting ink on every printing dot at the time of the forward movement of a printing head in a main scanning direction and injecting ink on every other dot at the time of the backward movement of the head so as to interlace dots formed at the time of the forward movement and forming a printing line parallel to a sub-scanning direction at the time of either one of forward and backward movements. CONSTITUTION:A main scanning means 37 allows a printing head 34 to reciprocally move at a predetermined speed along a main scanning direction. An image processing means 44 issues a command for the printing head 34 not only to inject ink on every other printing dot at the time of the forward movement of the printing head 34 due to the main scanning means 37 in a main scanning direction but also to inject ink every other printing dot at the time of the backward movement of the printing head 34 in the main scanning direction so as to interlace the printing dots formed at the time of the forward movement and forms a printing dot line along a sub-scanning direction by the ink injected at the time of the forward or backward movement of the printing head. |
