<p>The connector includes a housing having a number of terminals and components disposed in respective passageways. A grounding plate is disposed adjacent a forward face of the housing member. A rear plate is disposed adjacent the rearward face of the housing member and resilient conductive unit to bias the components and complete an electrical path from the terminals to a respective component to ground. The component passageways are parallel to and spaced from respective associated terminal passageways. The ground and rear plates define forward and rearward stop surfaces respectively for the component passageways. The rear plate includes conductive paths that extend between respective component passageways to respective terminal bores and into electrical engagement with the terminals. The resilient conductive unit is under compression in each component passageway adjacent one of the plates.</p> |
