PURPOSE:To conduct a spot welding of laminated steel plates without causing any strain and with saved equipment and saved space, by applying a thermosetting adhesive on bonding areas of material to be bonded, putting the bonding areas on top of each other and pressing the bonding materials and spottedly generating heat at the portions on which the adhesive has been applied. CONSTITUTION:A thermosetting adhesive 3 is applied in film or spot form on at least one bonding area of materials to be bonded 1, 2 (e.g.: roof panel and pillar of automobiles). The bonding areas are put on top of each other and pressed, and the portions to which the adhesive have been applied are resistance-heated spottedly, e.g., by passing an electricity through spot-like electrodes 4, 5 to resistance-heat the adhesive 3. After welding the pressure is released. |
