System for automatic control of the consistency of a ground mass of olives in a beating machine, which beating machine consists in a series of bodies connected in the vertical or horizontal direction and filled with mass originating from grinding in a hammer mill for the olives, and which mass is moved by means of endless screws actuated by a motor. Said system comprises an anperimetric ring with output proportional to the passage of current to the motor, and said ring is connected to a system control device which detects variations in consumption of energy in the motor and which are proportional to the shearing force achieved by the blades of the endless screws on the mass. Said control device acts on an all/nothing regulation solenoid valve which injects a certain flow of water into the first body of the beating machine in order to give the mass greater fluidity. <IMAGE>
