PURPOSE:To increase signal propagation velocity itself in wiring, by closely locating a first wiring portion, composed of superconductor, and a second wiring portion, composed of semiconductor and to be turned into superconductor. CONSTITUTION:A superconductor layer 2, a semiconductor layer 3, a dielectric layer 4, a semiconductor layer 5 and a superconductor layer 6, are formed on a substrate 1 in this order. The lower superconductor layer 2 and the lower semiconductor layer 3 are coupled with each other, and act as a lower wiring layer in conventional superconducting wiring. The upper superconductor layer 6 and the upper semiconductor layer 5 are coupled with each other, and act as an upper wiring layer in conventional superconducting wiring. The semiconductor layers 3, 5 are partly turned into superconductor by the influence of the superconductor layers 2, 6 adjacent thereto. That is, the portion of the semiconductor layers 3, 5 within coherent length L2 is turned into superconductor by the influence of the portion of the superconductor layers 2, 6 within coherence length L1. |
