The object of the present invention is to provide a spring clutch (30), which is capable of reducing manufacturing cost and effectively preventing noise. In the spring clutch (30), a main rotor (31) rotatably covers a driven shaft (14). A cylincrical section (32) is coaxially provided to the main rotor (31). A coil spring (41) is provided in the cylindrical section (32) and capable of pressing an inner circumferential face of the cylindrical section (32) by an outer circumferential face, and has a first and a second ends (42, 43), which are bent inward. A driven member (33) is provided on the driven shaft (14) and has a first engage section (35) with which the first end (42) of the coil spring (41) is capable of engaging. Fixing means (44) fixes the driven member (33) on the driven shaft (14). A stopper (37) rotatably covers the driven shaft (14) and has a second engage section (39) with which the second end (43) of the coil spring (41) is capable of engaging, wherein the second end (43) of the coil spring (41) is engaged with the second engage section (39) and the coil spring diameter (41) is reduced when external means stops the rotation of the stopper (37).
