PRODUCTION OF LACTONES

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce lactones in high activity and yield without using complicate reaction operation by hydrogenating a dicarboxylic acid used as a raw material in a homogeneous liquid phase reaction system. CONSTITUTION:gamma-Butyrolactone is produced by hydrogenating maleic acid and/or succinic acid in a homogeneous liquid phase system in the presence of an organic diphosphine compound using a ruthenium catalyst.
