A multiposition swivel coupling for use in an articulating fume extraction arm (Fig 3) comprises a pair of conical coupling members 2, 3 each arranged to swivel relative to the other and means 10, 11, 12, 13, 8, 14 for locking and tightening members 2, 3 together in one of a multiplicity of relative angular orientations. In another embodiment the swivel coupling comprises a pair of coupling members 2, 3; means 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 for locking and tightening members 2, 3 together and multi-waved toothed or pointed locking cam profiles 8 on the mating- faces. <IMAGE> |
