摘要

PURPOSE:To realize downsizing of joint by shortening the compression terminal part. CONSTITUTION:A compression terminal 5 is compression jointed to the conductor 3 of a cable 1 by means of a die. The die applies pressure to the peripheral surface 5A of the compression terminal 5. When the surface is made smooth, the peripheral surface 5A to be compressed can be used as an electric contact face at the time of connection or disconnection. This structure allows significant shortening of overall length as compared with a compression terminal provided with separate compressing part and electric contact part.
