摘要 PURPOSE:To efficiently establish three-dimensional information. CONSTITUTION:One of images of an object 19 which are taken by at least three or more cameras 111 to 116 serves as a standard image, and a standard reversely-projected line is specified that passes both a feature point in the standard image that corresponds to one of three-dimensional feature points of interest on the object and the center of the lens of the camera by which the image was taken. A reference reversely- projected line is calculated that passes feature points on epipolar lines obtained by the projection of the standard reversely-projected line onto the images taken by the other cameras, as well as the center of the lens of each of those cameras. The coordinate positions of the crossing points of the standard reversely-projected line and the reference projected line are calculated and the number of crossings of the reference reversely-projected line at each crossing point is counted. The crossing point at which the number of crossings is maximum is determined to be the position of the three- dimensional feature point of interest. All the feature points on the standard image undergo similar processes so that the corresponding three-dimensional feature points on the object are positioned.
