<p>PURPOSE:To realize a long storage of vegetable by providing a vegetable case of an electric refrigerator with humidity regulating function and ethylene gas exhausting function. CONSTITUTION:In order to retain freshness of vegetable, it is necessary to retain humidity inside a vegetable case 14 at about 90% and to exhaust ethylene gas which is harmful to the vegetable out of the vegetable case 14. To satisfy these conditions, a lid 15 is put over an opening formed in an upper surface of the vegetable case 14. The lid 15 has an opening 20 in its upper surface, and this opening 20 is mounted with a frame body 23 in which a humidity regulating plate 21 and an ethylene permeable film 22 on the humidity regulating plate 21 are accomodated. The humidity regulating plate 21, when the humidity inside the vegetable case 14 increases too much, absorbs it, and on the contrary, it decreases too little, discharges water into the vegetable case 14. As the ethylene permeable film 13 permits only ethylene gas and no water, it retains the humidity inside the vegetable case 14 at a proper degeree, while the ethylene permeable film 13 exhausts only ethylene gas which is harmful to the vegetable. As a result, a long storage of the vegetable can be realized.</p> |
