PURPOSE:To edit stored waveform data even if the storage capacity of an editing area is small by returning the data which is transferred from the waveform memory area selected from plural sections to an edition memory region and is edited to the memory region. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 20 inputs the each section size and the number of division when the whole of the waveform memory region of a RAM 24 is divided in a display device 28 and they are displayed on the device 28. When the number of division is inputted, the CPU 20 displays the list of each section as to which address range of the waveform memory region each section is corresponded to on the display device 28. By referring to this display, the section of waveform data parts to be edited is selected by an input device 26. Further, the CPU 20 transfers the selected waveform data of the waveform memory region of the RAM 24 to the edition memory area of the RAM 24 and edits the data by using the devices 26 and 28. When the size of one section is smaller than the capacity of the edition memory, the waveform part is enlarged and is displayed on the device 28. When the size is larger, the waveform part is reduced. The waveform data part for which a variety is finished is returned to the waveform memory region. |
