PURPOSE:To attain editing operation without impairing operability even at the time of displaying large capacity data by attaining the reception of key input even in the process of graphic data display. CONSTITUTION:At the time of displaying graphic data, a graphic display symbol 7 that showing graphic data is under display is lighted in the setting area 10 of the screen 100 of a display device. Next, whether graphic data to be displayed exists or not on a document memory is researched and at the time of existing, graphic data is displayed on the editing area 9 of the screen 100. On the other hand, CPU checks whether there is key input or not to a key buffer 3 before preparing a plotting command by decoding graphic data and before delivering the plotting command to a graphic driver 6 while lighting the graphic display symbol 7. Then, when there is key input, display processing is immediately interrupted to be in a key input waiting state, so that the editing processing is enabled. |
