Annular hydraulic clutch-release cylinder arrangement

A clutch-release cylinder arrangement comprises an annular cylinder (2) which is in coaxial alignment with an axial centre line of a clutch (22) and has an annular recess (3) with an open end towards the clutch and a closed end with a bottom at the end facing away from the clutch. An annular piston (4) is arranged in a manner which allows it to be displaced in the recess (3). A release bearing (6) is secured on an outer axial end of the piston (4) and supports a pressure flange (26) which operates the clutch. The cylinder comprises two components (8, 9), which are produced by drawing metal sheet and have a flange (8b, 9b) and a tubular part (8a, 9a). The tubular part (8a) of one component (8) of the cylinder has a larger diameter than the tubular part (9a) of the other component (9) of the cylinder, the annular recess (3) being formed between the coaxially nested tubular parts (8a, 9a). <IMAGE>
