<p>PURPOSE:To provide a positioning device which can arrange an object accurately at a predetermined position without generating any crack and flaw at the object when the object to be positioned is positioned at the predetermined position on a device table. CONSTITUTION:A positioning device 10 is equipped with a device table 12 on which a liquid crystal panel 30 is mounted; a positioning plate 16 fixed on the table 12; a movable member 18 to butt the liquid crystal panel 30 against the positioning plate 16; and a drive device 21 to move the movable member 18 in an arrow A direction. The movable member 18 is connected to the drive device 21 through a plate 22, and to its tip portion, a pair of pads 20 is fitted. The movable member 18 mitigates impact against the liquid crystal panel 30 placed bendingly in regard to the positioning the plate 16 by being furnished to the plate 22 swingably around a connection portion 24, and at the same time corrects the on-table posture of the liquid crystal panel 30.</p> |
