PURPOSE: To obtain large light density without exerting influence on reliability of a unit by forming a light source as a laser device to generate the monochromatic light having a known wave length in a laser phototherapeutic device which has an optical fiber coupling to transmit the light to an optical fiber pad from the light source and imparts luminous radiation to a suckling. CONSTITUTION: A device has a power source 10 connectable to a standard feeder line by a power source cord 12, and electric power is transmitted to a laser illuminator 16 by a standard cable 14. The laser illuminator 16 has a laser device to actuate a laser beam therapeutic device. A coupler 18 arranged in an output part of the laser illuminator 16 connects radiation energy generated by the laser illuminator 16 to one end of an optical fiber cable 20. The optical fiber cable 20 transmits luminous radiation received from the laser illuminator 16 to an optical fiber pad 22, and the luminous radiation is irradiated to a suckling by the optical fiber pad 22. Therefore, large intensity can be easily attained without filtering it, and the luminous radiation of the monochromatic light of a wide wave length range can be irradiated to the suckling. |
