The manure is fed into the pre-settling silo (2 at 1). The liquid fraction of the manure is introduced, optionally after an additional pretreatment (3), at a uniform rate in calculated amounts, depending on the rate of growth of the biomass, into the High Rated Algal Pond (5 at 4) via a stopcock, which preferably is under automated control. Depending on the density of the culture, determined by the biomass density measuring device (6), the water from the pond is transported, by means of a preferably self-priming pump (at 7) to the recovery installation (8). The biomass is separaed from the effluent by means of the electrolysis. The post-settled or creamed-off biomass is collected and preferably further thickened (at 9). The effluent can be recycled to the pond (10) or discharged (at 11) into the sewage system or into the surface water. |
