<p>PURPOSE:To prevent overdischarge of a secondary battery positively by interrupting power supply to a comparing means as well as a load. CONSTITUTION:The overdischarge preventive circuit for a secondary battery 21 loaded to an electric appliance 10 in order to drive a load 1 comprises means 3 for detecting the voltage of the secondary battery 21, a comparing means 4 being driven by the secondary battery 21 to compare the battery voltage with a reference voltage Vref and delivering a detection signal when the battery voltage drops below the reference signal Vref, and a control means 6 for interrupting the driving of the load 1 and the comparing means 4 through the secondary battery 21 in response to the detection signal.</p> |
