<p>Sliding contact bearing consisting of plastics for accommodating a ball (2), which has two bearing rings (5, 6) inserted in a cylindrical outer sleeve and having ball socket-shaped bearing surfaces (8) and which can be inserted and fixed axially in a hollow cylindrical bearing support (4), each bearing ring (5 and 6) having a U-shaped cross-section and forming with the outer sleeve a grease chamber (9) from which channels (11) lead to the bearing surface (12) of the respective bearing ring (5, 6). To achieve easily installed play-free guidance, capable of bearing high loads, of the ball, each bearing ring (5, 6) is provided with its own outer sleeve (7', 7'') and a gap (15) is provided between the bearing rings (5, 6) and between the outer sleeves (7', 7'') in the assembled condition and at least one bearing ring (5 or 6) is supported in axially flexible fashion against the bearing support (4). <IMAGE></p> |
