An indicator for a gauge, such as a floor scale (10) includes a semi-circular dial (14) and a two-pronged needle indicator (20) that is free to rotate through 360 degrees within the gauge, the dial (14) having an inner and an outer arcuate scale. One of the two prongs (22, 24) of the indicator (20) indicates the respective gauge reading on one of the arcuate scales during a first 180 degree swing of the indicator and the other of the two prongs (22, 24) indicating the gauge reading on the other arcuate scale along the succeeding 180 degree swing of the indicator. The end of the prong is coloured to match that of its respective scale. The indicator may show body weight, pressure, temperature or humidity. <IMAGE> |
