<p>PURPOSE: To enable good bleaching, while increasing strength of the fibers, by bleaching fibers from color dyed waste paper with the specified bleaching agent in the presence of an ethoxylated amine. CONSTITUTION: The fibers are bleached, while increasing strength of fiber web or paper web, by performing bleaching treatment to pulp of color dyed waste paper (e.g. used color dyed paper for recycling, etc.), with a treating soln. contg. an aq. soln., which contains a bleaching agent selected from zinc hydrosulfite, sodium hydrosulfite, formamidine sulfinic acid or H2 O2 , and a xylate compd. and sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, etc., in the presence of an alkoxylated amine selected from ethoxylated amine of formula I and II (where R is 8-22C straight chain alkyl having 1-3 substd. group selected from methyl and ethyl as needed; (x) and (y) are each 1 or more and (x+y) is 2-12, preferably long chain alkyl selected from 12-22C, and (x) and (y) are each 1-5) and propoxylated amine.</p> |
