<p>PURPOSE:To precisely form am imagery focus on the surface of a photosensitive drum regardless of working error of parts by providing an adjusting mechanism for adjusting distances between an optical head and the photosensitive drum between the optical head and a frame. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 2 is supported by side frames 21a of a photosensitive body unit 21 and an inclined surface 22 is provided on the upper surface of both of the side frames 21a, above a point where the drum 2 is supported. An adjusting mechanism 23 for adjusting distances between an LED head, as optical head, and the drum 2, i.e., height of the LED head, is constituted by the surfaces 22 and blocks 24 which can slide over the surface 22 in a direction of arrow B-B. If the mechanism 23 of the unit 21 is moved along the frames 21a, the distance between the optical head and the surface of the drum 2 varies gradually, by a small magnitude. Consequently, even if there are working error of parts or error in assembling, an imagery focus of irradiated light of the optical head can be formed on the surface of the drum 2.</p> |
