Method and device for controlling a rear-wheel steering system
摘要
A device for controlling a rear-wheel steering system includes a controller which carries out a delay process of the first order. This process is equivalent to a transmission function of a delay of the first order and is constituted by a time constant which preference to loading data from a rear-wheel travel sensor and a proportional constant which corresponds to vehicle speed data from a vehicle speed sensor. The delay process of the first order is carried out on a front-wheel steering angle which is obtained on the basis of steering-wheel angle data from a steering-wheel angle sensor in order thereby to fix a desired rear-wheel steering angle. Rear wheels are steered with the fixed rear-wheel steering angle with a quantity for the delay of the first order corresponding to the load. As a result, driving stability and the turning performance of the front part of a vehicle are improved under different loading and steering conditions.
