PURPOSE:To provide a cancel filter which is used for a system performing a sound field processing by using a pair of speakers and cancels crosstalk have a simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:This signal processor (cancel filter 1) is composed of an adder 2 and a differential device 3 generating a sum signal and a difference signal from input signals X and Y, a first filter 4 processing the sum signal, a second filter 5 processing the difference signal, and an adder 6 and a differential device 7 generating the sum signal and the difference signal from the signal processed by the filters 4 and 5 and outputting the signals. The filters 4 and 5 is made to have the characteristic which is reverse to the characteristic of the sum and difference of a transmission characteristic S from a pair of speakers LF and RF to the same side ear of a listener LM and a transmission characteristic A from the speakers to the opposite side ear, [or I/(S+A), 1/(S-A)]. The output of the cancel filter 1 is reproduced by the pair of speakers LF and RF arranged at a location which is roughly symmetrical to the listener LM. |
