PURPOSE:To easily perform the input operation and editing operation of character data while referring to the layout of the entire page. CONSTITUTION:After a reduced screen area is divided leaving a normal screen area in a part of a display 31, editing screen data before establishment and after the establishment or cancellation are prepared based on editing information or the like inputted from an input part 10 and reduced so as to let the entire editing screen data displayed in the reduced screen area. Then, the editing screen data before the establishment successively outputted from an editing means 21 are displayed in the normal screen area and the same editing screen data are simultaneously reduced and displayed at the corresponding position of the editing screen area. Also, the establishment or cancellation of the character data before the establishment is instructed to the editing means 21, the editing screen data after the establishment or the cancellation are displayed in the normal screen area and the same editing screen data are simultaneously reduced and displayed at the corresponding position of the reduced screen area. |
