PURPOSE:To improve durability and recycling ability at the time of packing operation and transportation by a method wherein a support board formed of a reinforced corrugated cardboard sheet with the recess parts conforming with the base contour of a heavy object arranged on the upper side is joined to a box-like corrugated cardboard sheet with the notches conforming with the upper contour of the heavy object arranged on the lower side so as to form an intermediate support board. CONSTITUTION:A support board 4 is formed of a reinforced corrugated cardboard sheet with the recess parts 8 conforming with the base contour of a heavy object 6 and is laid on and fastened to a pallet 2 with nails. A box-like corrugated cardboard sheet 10 whose underside has the notches 9 conforming with the upper contour of the heavy object 6 is joined to the support board 4 of the reinforced corrugated cardboard sheet arranged above, thereby forming an integral intermediate support board 7. In this way the lateral displacement in transit can be suppressed and the packing operation can be improved. Also, an outer case is made unnecessary and the cost can be reduced and, since the packing device is made of paper, it can cope with environmental problems. |
