摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To perform stable rolling without receiving a bad influence given by a looper control system from an abrupt disturbance by changing the control characteristics of a looper to the tension variation between stands when the joint between billets and its neighboring area are rolled down. CONSTITUTION:The tension of a steel sheet (b) in a rolling time is controlled by the looper 3 and the angular speed omega of the looper 3 is detected by an angular speed detector 5. The value detected by the angular speed detector 5 is inputted into a coefficient multiplier 6, a control gain equal to 20-60% of a torque controlling command value TQo of the looper 3 is multiplied by it here (a suitable value is set to the control gain in accordance with the mechanical characteristic of the looper), its arrival timing is judged by a tracking signal Tr and feedback to an output value TQ of the tension control system of the looper 3 only when the joint and its neighboring area are rolled through a change over device. This value is inputted into a looper driving control system 8 and this calculated result TQo is transmitted to the looper driving motor 4 to control the looper 3.</p>
