PURPOSE:To provide, in a rubbish processor equipped with a lid member openable/closable via a hinge, a compact hinge portion enabling the lid member to be stably opened/closed in a closed condition and always opened/closed with safety. CONSTITUTION:A hinge 15 rotated jointly with a lid member 8 and hinge receivers 16 supporting the hinge 15 via shafts are formed like a character U whereby side walls 20 of the hinge 15 are rocked while slid against the inner walls of the hinge receivers 16 and in addition a hinge shaft 17 and an end portion of a pin 22 rearwardly spaced therefrom are rocked while slid along a slit 23. For this reason, when opening and closing the lid member 8, the hinge 15 and the hinge receivers are shaft supported in mutually closely contacted condition whereby the lid member 8 can be prevented from being inclined. Further, since a spring 25 is attached to the pin 22 and downwardly urges it, when releasing the lid member 8, it can be opened with a small force while, on the other hand, when closing the lid member 8, the weight of the lid member 8 per se is decreased with the result that the lid member 8 can be lightly closed. |
