PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device of high image quality which can record with sufficient density by forming a section of high friction coefficient on a counter face of a carrier in the downstream in the charged particle carrying direction of an electrical field control means. CONSTITUTION:Toners on a toner carrying roller 14 are fed to an aperture 6 while being rubbed by an insulating sheet 2 of an aperture 1. At that time, the toners 16 pass through the aperture 6 of the electrode 1 and reach a rough face section of a downstream section in the carrying direction in the vicinity of the aperture on the insulating sheet 2 at the rear end of the aperture. The toners 16 are collided in a manner of colliding with the rough face section by the carried and fed energy. As the surface roughness of the rough face section is large and the friction coefficient is also large, the capability of rubbing the toners 16 is large. The toners 16 become free by the opening force generated by the friction and can be controlled sufficiently by the control electrical field. As the electrical field control properties of the toners collided with the rough face section are improved, the toners are sufficiently scattered even when the power is ON by the existing electrical field control force to perform the recording of high density. |
