METHOD AND DEVICE FOR VARYING THE ENTROPY OF A POLAR MOLECULAR SYSTEM

A method for varying the entropy of a polar molecular system by performing controllable agitation of the system in addition to the existing variable, haphazard agitation, and by ordering the molecular movements so as to prevent or promote ionic and/or hydrogen and/or van der Waals bonding between the molecules. Said ordered molecular agitation in a given medium (1) is performed by generating undulations by means of a device including an energy generator (2), a signal generator (3), a signal carrier (4), an impedance matching unit (5) and at least one mechanical and/or electromagnetic wave transmitter. The device enables controlled, uniform and orderly agitation of one sort of molecules in the medium in question, whereby the relationships between said molecules and their immediate environment may be varied. The method is particularly suitable for solving problems caused by the conversion of water into ice and the electroviscous effect of ionised emulsions.
