Powdered deer blood, preferably that of a stag, can be produced by mixing deer blood and ethanol, freezing the mixture of deer blood and ethanol to form a frozen mixture, freeze-drying the frozen mixture to form a freeze-dried mixture, heating the freeze-dried mixture, reducing the temperature of the heated mixture to form a dried product having a red-brown color; and then grinding the dried product to a powder. |
