PURPOSE:To obtain a rubber hose low in cost of production by facilitating the pushing-in and drawing-out of a core metal and reducing the production cost of the core metal and enhancing productivity by increasing the insertion number of times to a steam can. CONSTITUTION:When a rubber hose wherein one or more bent part is provided to at least one end of a relatively long straight pipe is produced, a core metal 12 forming only a bent part is pushed in the unvulcanized rubber hose 11 extruded from an extruder and the whole is vulcanized in a suspended or horizontally supported state. The pushing-in and drawing-out of the core metal 12 become extremely easy and, since the unvulcanized rubber hose is vulcanized in the suspended or horizontally supported state, good finish is obtained. The fatigue degree, labor and time of a worker are reduced and the production cost of the core metal 12 is reduced and productivity is enhanced by increasing the insertion number of times to a steam can and, as a result, a rubber hose having a bent part is obtained in low cost. |
